The only major data came from <strong>crude oil inventories<\/strong>, and later in the afternoon, we had the <strong>20-year Treasury bond auction<\/strong> at 1 PM.<br>Then at 4 PM, <strong>Fed Vice Chair Barr<\/strong> gave a few remarks.<br>After the close, everyone was waiting for <strong>Tesla\u2019s earnings<\/strong>, one of the most anticipated reports of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overnight Session (6 PM to 3 AM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The market opened higher at 6 PM on October 21, recovering from yesterday\u2019s Netflix-related pullback.<br>Our swing robot closed its short position and flipped long to kick off the new session strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around <strong>8 PM<\/strong>, momentum faded and the market began to dip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our robot quickly switched from long to short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As <strong>Asian markets<\/strong> opened, volatility picked up and Nasdaq dipped further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But by <strong>9:30 PM<\/strong>, buyers stepped back in, and the system reversed again into a long position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, the uptrend strengthened. By midnight, that long trade was up about 100 dollars in unrealized profit.<br>The rest of the night stayed calm and steady.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morning Session (6 AM to 12 PM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The morning started quietly, but around <strong>7 AM<\/strong>, Nasdaq began to slide.<br>Our robot closed the long for a small loss and switched short, only to flip back to long at <strong>8:15 AM<\/strong> as the market found support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heading into the open, futures climbed toward <strong>25,280<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then came the <strong>9:30 AM<\/strong> open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And right away, selling pressure hit the market as Netflix and Apple sold off again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Our system closed the long and went short, catching a nice downward move with over 100 dollars in unrealized gains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But volatility was wild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>9:35 am<\/strong>, a quick rebound triggered a switch back to long, which failed again at <strong>10 AM<\/strong>, flipping short once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>10:30 AM<\/strong>, Tesla and Nvidia were tumbling, and Nasdaq broke down hard. Our short position captured over 200 dollars in open profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, just before <strong>11 AM<\/strong>, the market snapped back up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our robot locked in the gains and went long, bringing realized profit to around 50 dollars with more unrealized gains on the new position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>11:25 AM<\/strong>, after a series of quick trades, realized profit had built up to around 280.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then came a big headline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Google dropped<\/strong> as <strong>rumors spread that OpenAI might be launching a new web browser.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The tech sector wobbled, and between <strong>11:30 and noon<\/strong>, our system had a choppy stretch, giving back about 100 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>12:30 PM<\/strong>, Nasdaq slipped to <strong>24,875<\/strong>, where our short closed in profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the system flipped long for the rebound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the market climbed back to <strong>25,000<\/strong>, that long built over 160 dollars in open profit before closing around <strong>12:40 PM<\/strong>, locking in gains and pushing realized profit to about 400 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of quick losing trades followed, trimming it back slightly,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>typical midday chop before the afternoon session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon Session (1 PM to 4 PM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The afternoon started sideways, with the system scalping small moves in a narrow range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realized profit hovered around the 200 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>1:15 PM<\/strong>, the market edged lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Short position on. Then at <strong>1:30 pm<\/strong>, a reversal flipped it long again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From <strong>1:30 to 2 PM<\/strong>, a few small losing trades hit, but by <strong>2:30 PM<\/strong>, the market was recovering,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the long position showed over 130 dollars in open profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>3:30 PM<\/strong>, Nasdaq had climbed to around <strong>25,050<\/strong>, with the system\u2019s long position holding nicely in the green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>4 PM<\/strong>, the futures settled near <strong>25,020<\/strong>, and the day ended with a <strong>total realized profit of about 300 dollars<\/strong>, after more than ten trades in 23 hours of nonstop activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After Hours Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the closing bell rang, <strong>Tesla<\/strong> reported earnings slightly below expectations.<br>The stock jumped briefly, then fell back.<br>Our robot caught a quick long trade right after 4:05 PM and closed it 5 minutes later with a small profit as the market cooled off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, it was a <strong>down day for the Nasdaq<\/strong>, dropping roughly <strong>250 points<\/strong> as the <strong>Mega Cap Tech<\/strong> names \u2014 Tesla, Nvidia, Google, and Netflix \u2014 weighed on the index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the choppy action, our swing robot <strong>algorithmic system<\/strong> stayed disciplined and adaptable, trading purely on price action.<br>By following its rules \u2014 cutting losses quickly and taking profits when they appeared \u2014 it finished the day up over <strong>308 dollars<\/strong>, proving once again that consistency beats emotion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and this is your daily Nasdaq futures recap.
