{"id":84,"date":"2026-01-19T07:08:37","date_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:08:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swingrobotic.com\/?p=84"},"modified":"2026-01-19T07:08:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:08:37","slug":"oct-16-2025-profit-714","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swingrobotic.com\/?p=84","title":{"rendered":"Oct 16, 2025 Profit $714"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2025-10-16 Nasdaq e-Micro Futures Recap 700 Profit\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T7Demo0sjMw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hello everyone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;this is <strong>Matthew<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and welcome back to our channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is <strong>Thursday, October 16, 2025<\/strong> and we\u2019re back with another <strong>daily recap of the e-Micro Nasdaq 100 futures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a <strong>busy macro day<\/strong> packed with <strong>economic data<\/strong> and <strong>Fed speakers<\/strong> moving the tape throughout the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>8:30 AM<\/strong>, we had the <strong>Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index<\/strong> and <strong>Philly Fed Employment data for October.<\/strong><br>Then at <strong>9 AM<\/strong>, <strong>Fed Vice Chair Barr<\/strong> delivered remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>10 AM<\/strong>, <strong>FOMC member Bowman<\/strong> spoke alongside the release of the <strong>Housing Market Index.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later in the day <strong>11:30 AM<\/strong> brought the <strong>4-Week Bill Auction<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 PM<\/strong> saw the <strong>Federal Budget Balance for September<\/strong>, and finally <strong>4:30 PM<\/strong>, the <strong>Federal Reserve Balance Sheet<\/strong> update wrapped up the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now let\u2019s take a closer look at <strong>how our swing robot navigated the volatility<\/strong> capturing about <strong>seven hundred and fifty dollars profit<\/strong> trading <strong>just one contract<\/strong> of the <strong>e-Micro Nasdaq 100 futures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overnight Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6 PM to 3 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>4 PM on October 15<\/strong>, our system carried over a <strong>long position<\/strong> into the overnight session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When futures reopened at <strong>6 PM<\/strong>, price action stayed <strong>flat and narrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the <strong>Asian session<\/strong> began, volatility remained muted with the Nasdaq drifting sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around <strong>2 AM<\/strong>, the long was <strong>closed<\/strong> and a <strong>short position entered.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But when <strong>London opened at 3 AM<\/strong>, <strong>Nasdaq edged higher<\/strong> and our short was <strong>stopped out.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pre-Market 7 AM to 9:30 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>7 AM<\/strong>, our robot re-entered a <strong>short position.<\/strong><br>Half an hour later <strong>Nasdaq pushed higher again<\/strong> triggering a <strong>reversal to long.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>8:40 AM<\/strong>, the <strong>long was closed<\/strong> for a <strong>160 dollars profit<\/strong> and a <strong>new short<\/strong> was entered.<br>Within minutes that short was <strong>flipped again<\/strong> as momentum turned bullish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>8:30 AM<\/strong>, when the <strong>Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index<\/strong> and <strong>Employment data<\/strong> hit the wires the <strong>market turned volatile.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our robot switched to <strong>scalping mode<\/strong> executing <strong>over ten quick trades<\/strong> for a <strong>realized profit of 240 dollars.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Market Open 9:30 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the <strong>US market open<\/strong> <strong>Nasdaq futures climbed higher. <\/strong>Our long position <strong>locked in another 120 dollars profit. <\/strong>From <strong>10:30 AM to noon <\/strong>our swing robot <strong>stayed active<\/strong> firing off <strong>over twenty trades <\/strong>generating an additional <strong>500 dollars in realized gains.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Momentum was fueled by strong tech buying led by <strong>NVIDIA and Meta <\/strong>while traders kept an eye on the Fed\u2019s afternoon reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>2 PM<\/strong>, the <strong>Federal Budget Balance for September<\/strong> was released.
