At the same time, we saw notable weakness across correlated markets \u2014 <strong>silver sold off sharply<\/strong>, and <strong>Bitcoin was trending lower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the risk-off tone, our robot initiated a <strong>short position<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the <strong>Asian markets opened<\/strong>, buyers stepped in aggressively and the market flipped higher. The short was stopped out for a loss of 257<strong> dollars<\/strong>, and without hesitation, the system flipped direction and entered a <strong>long position<\/strong>, adapting to the change in order flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pre-Market Data &amp; Volatility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the early morning hours, price continued to grind higher. The robot managed the long patiently and eventually closed the position for a <strong>4<\/strong><strong>00 dollar profit<\/strong>, fully erasing the prior loss and putting us at a <strong>net realized gain of <\/strong><strong>129<\/strong><strong> dollars<\/strong> heading into the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>8:30 AM<\/strong>, jobless claims hit the tape.<br>Initial claims came in at <strong>198 thousand<\/strong>, lower than the prior <strong>207 thousand<\/strong>, while <strong>continuing claims dropped to 1.884 million<\/strong> from <strong>1.903 million<\/strong>. The data supported the upside, and the market edged higher in response. Our robot made a long entry. Before 9 AM, it was closed for a profit, bringing realized gain to 250 dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cash Session &amp; Intraday Trades<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the U.S. stock market opened at <strong>9:30 AM<\/strong>, we saw a pullback driven by <strong>profit-taking pressure<\/strong>. Bitcoin slipped below <strong>96,000<\/strong>, silver dropped below <strong>89<\/strong>, while <strong>AMD and Tesla showed relative strength<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite pockets of strength, the index overall remained weak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Our robot identified the downside momentum and entered a <strong>short trade<\/strong>, which was later closed for a <strong>clean profit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just before noon, realized profit for the day stood at <strong>28<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong> dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon Session &amp; Into the Close<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the afternoon session, selling pressure persisted. The robot executed a couple of <strong>scalping trades<\/strong> \u2014 one winner and one loser \u2014 which trimmed realized profit down to <strong>163<\/strong><strong> dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the closing bell, earnings from the major financial institutions had <strong>minimal impact<\/strong> on the index, bringing an end to a busy but well-managed Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today was a classic <strong>two-sided market<\/strong>.
