{"id":100,"date":"2026-01-19T07:44:42","date_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:44:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swingrobotic.com\/?p=100"},"modified":"2026-01-19T07:44:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:44:42","slug":"oct-28-2025-profit-575","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swingrobotic.com\/?p=100","title":{"rendered":"Oct 28, 2025 Profit $575"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2025-10-28 Nasdaq Futures Recap Profit $575\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jlAuGzDtg_s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is <strong>Tuesday, October 28, 2025<\/strong>,<br>and this is your <strong>daily Nasdaq futures recap.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Market News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a packed schedule of data today.<br>At <strong>9:00 am<\/strong>, the <strong>House Price Index<\/strong> came out.<br>At <strong>10:00 am<\/strong>, we got both <strong>CB Consumer Confidence<\/strong> and <strong>New Home Sales<\/strong>, followed by the <strong>Dallas Fed Services Revenue<\/strong> report.<br>Then at <strong>10:30 am<\/strong>, the <strong>Texas Services Sector Outlook<\/strong> and the <strong>52-week bill auction<\/strong> results were released.<br>Later, at <strong>1:00 pm<\/strong>, we had the <strong>7-Year Note Auction<\/strong>, followed by the <strong>M2 Money Supply<\/strong> in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overnight Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6:00 PM to 3:00 AM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Futures reopened at <strong>6:00 PM<\/strong> and pushed higher, finally reaching the <strong>26,000<\/strong> level.<br>But around <strong>9:30 PM<\/strong>, as <strong>Asian markets<\/strong> opened, traders started taking profits, and the Nasdaq pulled back.<br>Our robot jumped in with a <strong>short position<\/strong> to catch that move. The rest of the night was quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Morning Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6:00 AM to 12:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>6:30 AM<\/strong>, that short was flipped to a <strong>long position<\/strong> as momentum turned up.<br>By <strong>9:00 AM<\/strong>, the <strong>House Price Index<\/strong> showed a <strong>0.4% increase<\/strong>, lifting Nasdaq to around <strong>26,050<\/strong>.<br>Our long position was showing about <strong>125<\/strong> dollars in unrealized gains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the <strong>9:30 AM<\/strong> cash open, Nasdaq edged higher.<br>Then at <strong>10:00 AM<\/strong>, <strong>CB Consumer Confidence<\/strong> came in at <strong>94.6<\/strong>, a bit lower than the previous <strong>95.6<\/strong>.<br>At <strong>10:30 AM<\/strong>, <strong>Dallas Fed Services Revenue<\/strong> dropped to <strong>-6.4<\/strong> from <strong>-2.4<\/strong>. That weaker data sent Nasdaq dipping again,<br>and our robot closed the long and switched back to <strong>short<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>11:30 AM<\/strong>, the <strong>52-week bill auction<\/strong> data came out,and Nasdaq pulled back slightly afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afternoon Session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>12:05 PM<\/strong>, the robot flipped back to <strong>long<\/strong>.<br>By <strong>12:30 PM<\/strong>, Nasdaq jumped more than <strong>50 points<\/strong> to <strong>26,147<\/strong>, and the long position was up about <strong>100 dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By <strong>2:00 PM<\/strong>, Nasdaq kept climbing, and the unrealized gain hit over <strong>200 dollars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>3:00 PM<\/strong>, the rally pushed even higher boosted by Nvidia strength, with the long showing around <strong>278 dollars<\/strong> in unrealized profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then at <strong>3:30 PM<\/strong>, things started cooling off, and our robot switched again from <strong>long<\/strong> to <strong>short<\/strong> ahead of the close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nasdaq closed at <strong>26,160<\/strong> at <strong>4:00 PM<\/strong>, with our <strong>short position still open<\/strong> going into the overnight session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a solid up day for the Nasdaq, boosted by <strong>Nvidia\u2019s continued strength<\/strong> and a firm tech tone across the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <strong>swing robot<\/strong> wrapped up the session with a <strong>net gain of 575<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is Tuesday, October 28, 2025,and this is your daily Nasdaq futures recap.
